Thunder LB3 Announces Girl’s Program

by Thunder LB3 Lacrosse in News

Thunder LB3 Lacrosse is proud to announce the addition of a girl’s program for the Fall of 2017! Lady STORM Lacrosse will be based out of East Cobb and will appeal to experienced players giving the Atlanta area a new option for top-level girls lacrosse. Teams will consist of graduation years 2019 to 2024.

The program will be directed by Angela Brunner who has been coaching both youth and high school lacrosse in the Atlanta area since 2007. Lady STORM Lacrosse will focus on high level training, access to experienced, knowledgeable, skilled coaches within a targeted training regimen designed to help girls whose goal is to be the top high school players they can be with an eye on continuing to play the game at the college level.

We believe that there is an outstanding opportunity for girls willing to work hard, be persistent and who want to be students of the game to play college lacrosse at the next level. We are committed to helping girls find the best fit for them with individual attention and support for our players, their development, and long-term aspirations. Not every Lady STORM Lacrosse player will aspire to play at the collegiate level nor will every player who does earn an athletic scholarship but the one thing we do know for sure, STORM Lacrosse players will get better and will have fun doing so.

Lady STORM Lacrosse is a new option for girls in Atlanta backed by experienced coaching and an organization that has significant experiences and history in both the men’s and women’s game.

Tryout dates for the 2017-18 teams are listed below and summer tryouts will be held in December. Please note you only have to attend one of the tryout dates.
